The 52 League is a fantasy sports app for iPhone. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. The short version: we collect only what the game needs to run, we don't show ads, and we don't sell your data.
You sign in with Sign in with Apple. We receive the identifier Apple provides and the name you choose as your team/owner name. We do not receive your Apple ID password, and if you use Apple's "Hide My Email" we never see your real email address.
Your rosters, lineups, trades, scores, standings, and league membership are stored in Apple iCloud (CloudKit) under the app's iCloud container, so they sync across your devices and are shared with the other members of your league. This data is handled under Apple's privacy policy. Sports statistics used for scoring come from public sports data sources and are not personal to you.
Product analytics — TelemetryDeck. We record a small set of anonymous, aggregated events (for example, that a lineup was set or a draft pick was made) to understand which features get used. TelemetryDeck is privacy-first: no advertising identifier (IDFA), no cross-app tracking, and no personally identifying information.
Crash reporting — Sentry. When the app crashes, we receive a diagnostic report to fix the bug. Personally identifying information is not attached to these reports.
We do not use advertising, ad tracking, or third-party ad networks, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
If you allow them, the app sends notifications (for example, when you're on the clock in a draft) through Apple's push service. You can turn these off any time in iOS Settings.
You can remove your data by leaving or deleting your league in the app and deleting the app, which removes its local data. For a full deletion of your records from the shared league database, email the address below and we'll remove them.
The 52 League is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Material changes will be noted in the app's "What's New."
